Updates on first-semester classes and exams

1. Exams and graduation exams in the autumn session (September-November 2022)

For the autumn session, the examination methods that have been practiced since 1 January 2022 and in the summer session continue to be valid (both for the written and oral exams, and as well as for graduation exams). However, there is no longer the obligation to show the green pass to access the University.

It is advisable to wear respiratory protection devices in all indoor places, including the exam theatres, especially when crowded and when interpersonal distancing cannot be guaranteed (at least one meter).

2. Lessons of the 1st semester of the Academic Year 2022-2023 (from September 2022)

The teaching and curricular activities are primarily carried out in person. The teachers will be broadcasting the lessons by video-streaming only if the capacity of the classrooms is reduced and more groups need to alternate in attending on premises.

For all courses, even when not video-streamed, the video-recordings of the lessons will be put online and will be updated at the discretion of the teacher with respect to previous versions (they may therefore also be those of previous years, if updated). Video recordings of all courses will be available to students for at least 15 days after the lesson.

Practical activities will take place in presence, in compliance with public health legacies on safety and protection.

3. Exams in the academic year 2022-2023 (from December 2022)

The oral and written exams are held in person. The teacher and the student can however agree, on an exceptional basis, to take the oral exams online. Students who, due to the limitations related to Covid, have an objective impediment to participate to the face-to-face exam which results independent of their will and appropriately certified have the right to take the exam online in the modality proposed by the teacher (oral or written).

4. Graduation exams in the academic year 2022-2023 (from December 2022)

Graduation exams are usually held in person but may exceptionally be authorized to be carried out online by the Department Director or by the Faculty President. Students who, due to the limitations related to Covid, have an objective impediment to participate to the graduation exam in person which results independent of their will and appropriately certified have the right to take the graduation exam online. The number of participants admitted to the face-to-face graduation session must be fixed by the Department Director or the Faculty President according to the spaces that will be used, also to allow for adequate physical distancing inside and outside the classroom.
