Additional Educational Requirements (O.F.A.)

The assessment of skills is important to recognize any educational needs and to provide new students with the most suitable tools to tackle their course of study. Possible gaps in the skills possessed at the time of enrollment must be compensed, as provided in the Didactic Regulation of the course (art. 6, comma 4).

If students prove to be eligible in the national ranking list but obtaine a score of less than 30 points, they will be assigned Additional Educational Requirements ("Obblighi Formativi Aggiuntivi", O.F.A.).

Students can be enrolled even if they will be assigned O.F.A., but they will have to compensate these requirements before taking specific exams.

For the academic year 2024/2025, to recover the O.F.A. students have to partecipate to seminar activities for the subjects of Chemistry, Medical Physics, and General Biology. O.F.A. seminars must be attended and passed to access the exam for the corresponding integrated course.

For the academic year 2025/2026, the possibility of organizing dedicated tutoring projects will be evaluated.

The O.F.A. are considered passed upon successfully completing the corresponding examination. To pass the final test of the seminar, students need to give the correct answer to at least 50% of the questions. In case of failing, the test can be retaken after 30 days.
